Lakehead Express Receive Trillium Grant


Lakehead ExpressTHUNDER BAY – Lakehead Express Soccer Club are thrilled to announce the receipt of a $15,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation over one year for the purchase of sport, office, and audiovisual equipment to enhance the provision of soccer programs in Thunder Bay.

“We are grateful to the Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Government of Ontario that awards grants to non-profit organizations to help build healthy and vibrant communities by strengthening the capacity of the voluntary sector,” shared Amy Rubino-Start, President of the Lakehead Express Soccor Club. “We have been recognized as a well established, capable, and deserving organization providing important programming in our district entirely through the commitment of our volunteers. Lakehead Express would like to thank all those who have contributed their time and effort to our programs”.
