Heading West? Check the Roads

SnowTHUNDER BAY – If you are heading west, you might want to check the road conditions. Environment Canada reports, “A low pressure system crossing Lake Superior into Northeastern Ontario today continues to bring snow to much of Northwestern Ontario”. A small area of moderate to heavy snow is expected.
”A general snowfall of near 15 cm is expected by early this afternoon at which time the snow will become lighter in nature. It will continue though throughout the day with at least a further 5 cm of the white stuff expected by evening as the low-pressure system moves northeast towards James Bay.

”Motorists should note that hazardous winter driving conditions are continuing due to very low visibility in heavy snow and accumulating snow. Travel plans should be adjusted accordingly”.
