Speedy Response Nabs Break and Enter Suspect

THUNDER BAY – A speedy response to an alarm led to the arrest of a suspect at the Shopper’s Drug Mart on Red River Road overnight.

At about 2:00AM the suspect alledgedly gained access to the roof of the building, and then gained entry to the store.  Thunder Bay Police Service reports, “A 22 year old Thunder Bay man is in custody this morning facing a charge of Break and Enter.  Uniform Patrol arrived at Shoppers Drug Mart on Red River Road just after 2:00 a.m. this morning after the store alarm was activated.  A suspect male was spotted inside the store and was ordered to surrender to police.  The arrest was made without incident”.
