Sunday is Police and Peace Officer National Memorial Day

THUNDER BAY – This Sunday is the Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day. It’s a day to honour and pay tribute to the fallen heroes who have given their lives in service and protection of our society.

A memorial service is to be held here in Thunder Bay.

Sunday September 26, 2010: 1:30 p.m. – March from the Provincial Court at 1805 Arthur Street to Wesley United Church at 130 Brodie Street North.

2:00 p.m. – Memorial Service at Wesley United Church, 130 Brodie Street North.

All are welcome to attend the Memorial Parade and Service.
