Thunder Bay Chill Continue Strong Start

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Chill continued their strong start to the season by defeating their long time rivals the Des Moines Menace in a lopsided 7-2 victory. Brandon Swartzendruber led the way for the Chill with three goals and an assist, in front of a crowd of 735 screaming fans at Chapples Park, Thunder Bay.

Chill Head Coach Tony Colistro was pleased with how his team started the game; “We wanted to come at them right away, and Rafa (Heck) really set the tone, and that was key.” “Tomorrow will be a totally different game, we need to come out even stronger,” said Colistro about Saturday night’s rematch. The second game of the series will take place on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 at 7:30 (EDT) at Chapples Park.
