THUNDER BAY – After last night’s record LOTTO MAX draw, Ontario will share in sixteen winning MAXMILLIONS prizes. The winning tickets were sold in areas including Ottawa, North Bay, Kingston, Belleville, GTA, Guelph, Kitchener/Cambridge and Peterborough.

The LOTTO MAX $50 million jackpot was not won, therefore next week will see an unprecedented 55 MAXMILLIONS available for the LOTTO MAX draw on Friday, June 25 on top of the jackpot, which remains at $50 million.

“We’re excited that we have so many MAXMILLIONS prize winners in Ontario and now with the addition of 55 MAXMILLIONS for next week’s draw, there are even more chances for people to win $1 million,” said Wendy Montgomery, Vice-President of Marketing at Ontario Lottery and Gaming.

This week’s LOTTO MAX draw will be a new record in Canadian lottery history, with a total prize amount of $105 million.

Thousands of Ontarians won other LOTTO MAX prizes including second prize winning tickets in the GTA area.

MAXMILLIONS are additional $1 million prizes added to the game when the jackpot reaches $50 million. MAXMILLIONS prizes are drawn separately from the LOTTO MAX jackpot draw, which means that a LOTTO MAX ticket not only gives players a chance at $50 million but also the chance to win any of the $1 million MAXMILLIONS draws on the same date.
