Winnipeg Police Investigate Homicide

WINNIPEG – Winnipeg has been experiencing a major number of homicides recently.

On October 31, 2019, at approximately 9:50 am CDT, members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 800 block of St. Matthews Avenue for a report of suspicious circumstances.

Upon arrival, officers located an injured male outside of a residence. The male was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced deceased.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
