THUNDER BAY – MINING – Premier Gold Mines (TSX:PG) and Long Lake #58 (“LLFN”) have announced the signing of a joint memorandum of understanding (“MOU”). This MOU supports the on-going efforts of LLFN and Premier in developing a joint process that will detail how the Parties will undertake to negotiate a formal agreement relating to the development of the Hardrock Project.

LLFN is pleased with Premier’s on-going conduct and the respect that they have shown while working within the consultation and accommodation protocol that LLFN has established for companies that work within their traditional territory. Chief Allen Towegishig emphasized that “This is the next step in our relationship with Premier Gold and we will continue to work cooperatively with them for the benefit of both Parties.”

“It is through a spirit of collaboration and cooperation that Premier and LLFN have advanced to this stage in their relationship. We look forward to concluding a definitive agreement that will further solidify this relationship and will formalize the manner in which LLFN will participate in the continued advancement of the Hardrock Mine project” said Premier President and CEO Ewan Downie.

When industry, community and government collaborate it ensures project support. Premier recognizes this and is therefore committed to engaging with local communities and all levels of government to establish the close working relationships that will lead to development project success.
