Asking Price of $650,000 for Golf Course

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay City Council has authorized the sale of Municipal Golf Course.

Council formally approved the sale at its July 28 meeting. Municipal Golf Course, located on Highway 130, was marketed through a request for proposal process. Bruno’s Contracting (Thunder Bay) Limited was the successful proponent, and has entered into an Agreement of Purchase and Sale with the City. All of the Purchaser’s conditions have now been waived.

The 37-hectare property will be sold for the appraised market value of $650,000.

The course was closed at the end of the 2013 golf season.
