Delegates stop in to learn about hydraulic and pneumatic components, service expertise

TORONTO — Delegates at the 2026 Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) International Convention were stopping in at the Thunder Bay Hydraulics exhibit to learn more about the Canadian manufacturer’s hydraulic and pneumatic components—and the services that support mining, exploration, and industrial operations.

Thunder Bay Hydraulics is among 112 businesses and organizations representing Northern Ontario in the FedNor-funded Northern Ontario Mining Showcase (NOMS) pavilion at PDAC 2026.

PDAC: a global stage for the mining sector

PDAC runs March 1–4 in Toronto and is projected to draw more than 27,000 attendees from 125 countries, making it one of the world’s leading mineral exploration conferences and trade shows.

As the largest pavilion at the convention, NOMS promotes Northern Ontario’s range of products, services, and investment opportunities, positioning the region as a recognized centre of mining excellence.

NOMS impact: scaling businesses and creating jobs

Organizers say the showcase is designed to help Northern Ontario companies scale up, grow sales and exports, and create high-quality jobs. Since launching in 2015, the pavilion has nearly tripled in size, with participants collectively credited with creating over 900 jobs and generating more than $100 million in increased sales.
