Major Crime Unit arrests suspect in Dec. 25 Hodder Avenue case; aggravated assault charge filed under Criminal Code
THUNDER BAY — December 26, 2025 (TB25050160) — Thunder Bay Police Service say a charge has been laid following a Major Crime Unit investigation into an incident at a business on the city’s north end.
Police report officers were dispatched to a business on Hodder Avenue just after midnight on December 25, 2025, after receiving a call about an injured person. The victim was transported to hospital and is now listed as stable, police said.
On December 26, 2025, Major Crime Unit investigators arrested a suspect in connection with the incident. Police say the accused has been charged with aggravated assault and has since been released from custody with a future court date.
The charge has not been proven in court.
