THUNDER BAY – LIVING – The drug Cychlorphine has been found in what was sold as a blue “Percocet” tablet.
This synthetic “orphine” opioid was never clinically approved, and its potency is not fully understood – meaning the risk of overdose is high.
Dealers often use pill pressers to make illicit substances look like real prescription medication and even stamp numbers and markings on the pills to mimic pharmacy-issued tablets.
If you didn’t get your drugs from a pharmacy, get them tested whenever possible.
Please don’t use alone, carry naloxone, and check in on each other. Stay safe, Thunder Bay.
