Weather Trivia

The Greenstone region often sits in a storm “sweet spot” when strong systems track east of Lake Superior. As cold Arctic air meets moist air from the low-pressure system, the result is long-duration snow events with powerful winds — exactly the setup we’re seeing with this winter storm.
