Thunder Bay — The Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) responded to 900 calls for service from November 2 to 9—an average of about 129 calls per day.

The week included crashes, intimate partner violence reports, mental health calls, weapons incidents, and other public-safety concerns.

The Week at a Glance

  • Motor vehicle collisions: 69 (≈ 7.7% of all calls)

  • Intimate partner violence: 47 (≈ 5.2%)

  • Mental health–related calls: 42 (≈ 4.7%)

  • Weapons calls: 16 (≈ 1.8%)

  • Assaults: 30 (≈ 3.3%)

  • Break and enters: 12 (≈ 1.3%)

  • Unwanted persons: 67 (≈ 7.4%)

  • Family disputes: 20 (≈ 2.2%)
