TBPS thanks public for tips; accused in custody, court appearance set for tomorrow

THUNDER BAY – CRIME UPDATE (Oct. 12, 2025 | File: TB25040750) – The Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) says a suspect connected to the serious assault on October 11, 2025 has been identified and arrested, thanks in part to assistance from the public.

Members of the Break and Enter and Armed Robbery Unit took the suspect into custody early this afternoon. The accused is being held in custody and is expected to appear in court tomorrow.

Police say additional details will be released as they become available.
