Police Investigation Prompts Road Closures in Thunder Bay’s South Side

THUNDER BAY – CRIME REPORTS – Thunder Bay Police are currently engaged in an active investigation on the city’s south side, prompting a series of road closures in the area.

As of the morning of September 1, 2025, residents and motorists are advised to avoid May Street from Northern Avenue to Dease Street, including all adjacent streets. The closures are in place to ensure public safety and support ongoing police operations under case file TB25035077.

Authorities are asking the public to stay clear of the area and to follow all traffic detours. Additional updates will be provided as the situation develops and roads are reopened.
