Magnus Theatre Presents: “Lies and Legends: The Musical Stories of Harry Chapin”

Magnus Theatre’s outdoor stage comes alive this Saturday, showcasing the acclaimed production of “Lies and Legends: The Musical Stories of Harry Chapin”. Performances are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. General admission seating is available, and accessible seating can be arranged by noting it in ticket orders or calling the box office at (807) 345-5552. Student and group bookings can also be arranged through the box office.

Cirque Italia Water Circus – All Weekend

Experience the dazzling acrobatics and visual wonders of Cirque Italia’s Water Circus, happening under the white and blue big-top tent across from Intercity Shopping Centre. The family-friendly show runs Friday through Monday, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, and concludes with a final performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Ticket prices range from $35 to $80.

35th Annual Festa Italiana – Sunday & Monday

The vibrant Festa Italiana returns for its 35th year, inviting the community to celebrate Italian culture at the Italian Cultural Centre. Festivities will run from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on both Sunday and Monday. Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, live music, beer gardens, children’s activities, and popular contests like spaghetti, watermelon, and jello eating challenges. Don’t miss your chance to enter a free draw to win a trip for two to Italy.

Thunder Bay Chill International Invitational Tournament – All Weekend

Soccer fans can catch the excitement at the Thunder Bay Chill International Invitational Tournament at Tbaytel Field on Chapples Drive. Matches continue daily at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. throughout the weekend, with five teams competing in an action-packed round-robin series. The tournament wraps up Monday with a single match at 6:30 p.m.

🎶 Waverley Park Concert Series

Music lovers can relax under the evening skies at the Waverley Park Concert Series, which returns Monday from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a night of great local entertainment.

Thunder Bay Border Cats Baseball

Support the local Border Cats as they take to the field Monday evening. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. at Port Arthur Stadium. Cheer on your hometown team!
