Using his charismatic personality and “glass half full” approach to life, Ar-Rasheed S. Brisco Jr has begun his new podcast that’s dedicated to life lessons through entertainment. What started as him helping friends at the “Real Poetic Podcast” became him starting one of his own. Having found success in business with his company New Life Credit Consultants in the consulting space, which helped to influence this podcast creation.
At the end of most episodes, Ar-Rasheed usually asks “there’s a lesson in every loss we take people, right?” to find the positive light in the situations discussed on his podcast. This show is designed to find situations from the business world, pop culture and even politics that can help the listener find the silver lining to learn something.
The Podcast initially found some momentum after the second episode had more than 6000 views, which was the first indication that there was some serious interest from people to hear his message. He also has had some interviews with local artists that will be released on to future episodes of the podcast, which Ar-Rasheed stated “are some of the most thought provoking conversations out.”
“After seeing how many stories out there have teachable moments, it motivated me to give my own feedback,” Ar-Rasheed told us. “I know so many people that want to hear my opinion on things, so this was a natural move for me.” He also broke down his plans for the future with his podcast and music.
“After releasing another project recently, I want to let that exist while I focus on building up my brand in podcasting,” Ar-Rasheed explained. “I want to eventually establish an entertainment company that will be home for podcasters, musicians and other creatives to have a platform. That’s the long term plan, which will take a few years to come into play.”
