When starting a business, it can often be difficult to pinpoint exactly who your target audience is. Who is the community of people you want to market to and be around?
PR and Digital agency founder and CEO Jay Jay says that often all you need to do is experiment until you find what works.
“When we first started, the hardest thing for our agency was really just finding our tribe of people, who we were meant to help, and who we could really get results with. We started by working with speakers, then young entrepreneurs, but now we are getting the most results and satisfaction working with lawyers, doctors and other professionals who really want to grow their personal brand and leave an amazing legacy.”
Jay Jay’s agency, Ace of Spades, went through its own journey of finding out what worked best, and luckily Jay pushed through the tough times.
“I think for any entrepreneur, it’s really hard to keep going when you keep hitting walls and rejections with your prospects. People don’t want to buy, they don’t want to pay you, and they just keep rejecting you. As an entrepreneur, sometimes you don’t even know how you’ll survive the week. But in the end, it’s always worth pushing through and finding what works because of the joy and satisfaction it brings. Looking back at all I had to go through, it feels magical to be where I am now, and only the real few can understand this.”
Because of Jay Jay’s perseverance, Ace of Spades has already helped hundreds of personal brands in over twelve countries.
“We have got clients verified on social media, got them millions of followers, plus most importantly got them clear on who they are, what they do and how they can help others!”
Jay Jay’s message to persevere and keep going until you find what works is something that all entrepreneurs should keep in mind for themselves. He shares that he has even bigger goals for Ace of Spades, hoping to soon be in global offices around the world and reaching one million people, helping them grow their brand and leave a legacy on this planet.
