“They Existed, They Existed, They Existed” – Vigil for Victims of Tehran Air Disaster

THUNDER BAY – The City of Thunder Bay and Lakehead University came together today for a vigil held in the Agora at the university to remember the victims of the air crash in Tehran that claimed the lives of 176 people including sixty-three Canadians were among the 176 people killed in the crash.

In an emotional vigil, Sarah one of the organizers read a poem in her language… she said, “They existed, they existed, they existed”.

A solemn gathering of several hundred people came together in Thunder Bay to remember and mourn the loss of all the lives.

Thoughts are with all the friends and the families in this tragedy.
