THUNDER BAY – In celebration of its First Nations, Métis and Inuit students and employees, Confederation College is hosting Aboriginal Awareness Week from Monday, November 16 to Friday, November 20 2015.

The week will kick off on Louis Riel Day with special celebrations on campus. This will be followed by a full schedule of events throughout the week, designed to raise awareness about and engage the College community in Indigenous cultures. Events include a movie day, a Bead-In in honour of missing and murdered Aboriginal women, Indigenous craft workshops, and to close the week of celebrations, a Pow Wow and Aboriginal cultural celebration.
