Christmas Shopping Season Starts in Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY- The Bay & Algoma  in Thunder Bay kicked off their 4th Annual “Passport to Christmas” Holiday Shopping Adventure with over 100 shops, restaurants and small businesses joining together to celebrate one of the most unique historical and the cultural areas of Thunder Bay.

The Bay & Algoma Passport To Christmas, allows both tourist and Thunder Bay shoppers to come explore the traditional roots of our Finnish & Italian cultures, shop, grab a cafe, have fun and a chance to win 1000’s in prizes.

Bay & Algoma Historic District

The Bay & Algoma Historic District has long been the heart of Thunder Bay’s Finnish and Italian ethnic communities with a wide variety of locally owned and operated businesses, specializing in friendly, personalized service and unique products.

The Passport to Christmas is an annual Thunder Bay event that has been growing rapidly with more & more people participating every year. Many tourist come to the Bay Algoma area to enjoy the world famous Hoito restaurant with their finish pancakes and the delicious home made gnocchi & meatballs of the Italian Cultural Center.
