Thunder Bay police seek help finding missing 12-year-old Silversky Winter
THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Police Service is asking for the public’s help in locating 12-year-old Silversky Winter, who was last seen in the Limbrick area. Police and family members say they are concerned for her well-being, making this an urgent missing-person investigation.
Silversky Winter last seen in Limbrick area
Police say Silversky Winter was last seen in the Limbrick area of Thunder Bay.
She is described as an Indigenous girl, five-foot-seven and about 105 pounds, with shoulder-length black hair with highlighted tips, brown eyes and a birthmark on the left side of her mouth.
Police said she was wearing a purple jacket and grey jogging pants when last seen. A further clothing description provided by police also included burgundy-and-white plaid pajama pants, a grey sweater with “Kingfisher Lake First Nation” on the front, and black-and-white running shoes.
All missing-person reports are taken seriously, and police are asking anyone who may have seen Silversky or knows where she is to come forward.
