THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – Today was Day 2 of the Ontario U16 OCup Finals at Mount Baldy.  160 of the strongest 14 and 15 year old skiers from across Ontario competed in the second Slalom race under clear skies.  Cooler weather had improved snow conditions significantly from the rain soaked snow of Monday.

Thunder Bay athletes shone again today.
Reid Jones skied to a Silver medal after winning gold yesterday.  Ella Nichols was leading the women’s race after the first run before failing to finish on run 2.
