Highway Conditions Update (Ontario 511)

Highway 17

Kenora – Keewatin Channel Bridge (Hwy 17): Construction reported with the westbound lane closed. Eastbound remains open using temporary traffic signals. Vehicle weight limit 8,500 lbs; larger vehicles are directed to use Hwy 17A.
Schreiber to Marathon corridor (Hwy 17): Ontario 511 lists recurring construction on Hwy 17 eastbound between Terrace Bay Landfill Site Rd (S) (Schreiber) and Hwy 614 (to Manitouwadge) (Marathon area).
