HIGHWAY 11-17 REOPENED AS THUNDER BAY OPP INVESTIGATES FATAL COLLISION

(SISTONENS CORNERS, ON) – The Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising the public that Highway 11/17 has now been reopened at Sistonens Corners and in Kakabeka Falls following the earlier closure due to a fatal collision.

The OPP North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team and OPP Traffic Collision Investigation (TCI) team have completed their on-scene investigation, and normal traffic flow has resumed in both directions. Commercial motor vehicle drivers are reminded the by-law for Highway 102 is back in effect.
