Collision near Isabel Street sends one man to hospital; section of Memorial closed while TBPS Traffic Unit investigates

Thunder Bay — The Thunder Bay Police Service Traffic Unit is investigating a vehicle–pedestrian collision that happened around 9:00 a.m. today on Memorial Avenue near Isabel Street.

A male pedestrian was transported to hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.

A section of Memorial Avenue is closed, and motorists should expect delays and detours. Police are asking the public to avoid the area while the scene is examined and evidence is gathered.

The investigation is ongoing under file TB25045371. Police say more information will be shared when available.
