DuraPlas has named RectorSeal its nationwide master distributor for the company’s PolarPad and PolarPan product lines, expanding access to the HVAC solutions through RectorSeal’s national distribution network. First shipments are expected in October, with contractor availability beginning Nov. 1.

The agreement, jointly announced by the two Texas-based companies, combines DuraPlas’s expertise in engineered plastics with RectorSeal’s long-established reach across U.S. HVAC and plumbing markets. Both companies said the partnership will improve product availability and reduce lead times for contractors.

“RectorSeal has a long-standing reputation as one of the most trusted names in the HVAC industry, and its nationwide footprint is unmatched. This partnership ensures that PolarPad, PolarPan and other innovative solutions we bring to market are not only available but also easily accessible to contractors everywhere,” said Matt Hanson, vice president of sales at DuraPlas.

DuraPlas manufactures injection-molded polyethylene products engineered for strength, efficiency, and ease of installation. PolarPad, a mounting base designed to replace concrete, offers the look of concrete with the resilience and lighter weight of plastic. PolarPan, a direct replacement for metal drain pans, resists rust and cracking and features pre-plumbed, switchable fittings that simplify inventory management.

“PolarPad and PolarPan are lightweight, reliable, and unbeatable, durable products that contractors seek. Adding them to our portfolio enhances our offerings for quick installs and reduces callbacks,” said Scott Kay, senior vice president, marketing and technology at RectorSeal.

Paul Phillips, president of DuraPlas, added that “DuraPlas and RectorSeal’s partnership will be a great benefit to both our customers,” noting that the company has been producing reliable products for more than 50 years.

RectorSeal, founded in 1937 and based in Houston, is a subsidiary of CSW Industrials. The company is known for its broad range of HVAC/R, plumbing, and electrical products distributed through major wholesalers nationwide. DuraPlas, headquartered in Addison, Texas, operates a 400,000-square-foot facility and has produced injection-molded plastics for more than half a century, serving industries ranging from HVAC to agriculture and automotive.

With distribution centers positioned throughout the U.S., RectorSeal said it will stock DuraPlas products closer to key markets to improve supply-chain efficiency. The companies expect the partnership to extend the availability of engineered-plastic HVAC components to contractors coast to coast by the end of the year.
