THUNDER BAY – LIVING – Health Canada has issued a national recall of Potluck brand “Chillows” cannabis extract gummiesWintermint Chillows and Cinnamon Chillows—after finding the THC content exceeds what’s on the label and varies widely pouch-to-pouch.

The products were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. Some pouches contain more than 10 mg THC, making it difficult for consumers to gauge dose and increasing the risk of over-intoxication.

Reported risks and what to do

Potential short-term effects include confusion, disorganized thinking, anxiety/panic, low blood pressure, elevated heart rate, and impaired coordination; in rare cases, paranoia, delusions, or hallucinations may occur. Stop using the products immediately. Return them to the retailer where purchased or dispose of them safely, keeping them out of reach of children and teens. Thunder Bay residents with questions can also report concerns directly through Health Canada’s online Cannabis Reporting Form.
