THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a weapons incident in the area of May Street and Bethune Street shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25. The incident took place at the Tim Hortons on May Street South.

Thunder Bay Police report that a suspect was located and taken into custody without further incident.

A 37-year-old male has been charged with firearms-related offences and is scheduled to appear in court later today.

The investigation is ongoing, and police remain on scene. No additional details are available at this time.
