HIGH RIVER, ALBERTA – NATIONAL NEWS — The Western Communities Foundation (WCF), the charitable arm of Western Financial Group, has officially opened applications for its 2025 Community Infrastructure Grants.

From now until November 3, 2025, Canadian municipalities, registered non-profits, and community organizations are invited to apply for grants of $5,000 to fund projects that improve public spaces and strengthen community well-being.

Strong communities are built through collaboration, care, and connection,” said Nancy Green-Bolton, Western Financial Group’s Chief Operating Officer and Chair of the WCF Board. “These grants empower local leaders to create inclusive spaces that not only protect what matters, but also bring people together, foster meaningful relationships, and help communities thrive socially, emotionally, and physically.”
