Thunder Bay – Weather – Thunder Bay residents are waking up to cool temperatures and thick smoke, as a significant Air Quality Warning has been issued due to wildfire smoke drifting in from the Prairies.

The smoke is causing extremely poor air quality, with Environment Canada advising vulnerable groups to take immediate precautions.

The hazy conditions are expected to persist through Thursday.
