Smoke Advisory in Effect – Poor Air Quality from Prairie Wildfires

DRYDEN – WEATHER – Residents in Dryden and Vermilion Bay are under a Special Air Quality Statement this morning as smoke from forest fires in the Prairies continues to impact the region. Visibility is currently reduced to just 1.6 km due to a combination of mist and smoke. The poor air quality is expected to linger through Wednesday, especially during calm, clear morning hours.

Today brings sunshine through the haze in Dryden and Vermilion Bay — take precautions against poor air quality and plan for a brighter, clearer finish to the week.
