OPP URGES IMPAIRED DRIVING TO BE TREATED LIKE THE SERIOUS CRIME IT IS

GREENSTONE, ON – Regional News – On July 13, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., members of the Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11, just west of Goldfield Road, outside the Town of Geraldton.

One driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigation Underway

The OPP North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team and OPP Collision Reconstructionists have been called in to assist with the ongoing investigation. Officers are examining the scene, vehicle damage, and any available evidence to determine the factors that led to the crash.
