CORE Unit Responds to Unwanted Persons Call

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – On Tuesday, July 15, officers from the Thunder Bay Police Service Community Oriented Response and Engagement (CORE) Unit attended a residence in the 200 block of Amelia Street West after a call reporting unwanted individuals.

Search Uncovers Drugs and Weapons

Upon entering the home, officers arrested two people who were not authorized to be there. A subsequent search yielded quantities of suspected cocaine and fentanyl, multiple knives, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Charges Laid and Court Appearance

Mark BOUCHER, 50, and Martin CAMPBELL, 34, both of Thunder Bay, have been charged with:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

The accused appeared in court on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, and have been remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
