Thunderstorm Warning

Pickle LAKE – WEATHER – Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. At 4:51 a.m. CDT (4:51 a.m. EST, 5:51 a.m. EDT), Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing up to nickel size hail.

This line of severe thunderstorms is located from 15 kilometres south of McCoy Lake to Slate Falls, moving east at 65 km/h.

Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:

  • Pickle Lake – Cat Lake
  • Summer Beaver – Wunnummin Lake – Kingfisher Lake

Hazard: Nickel size hail and locally heavy downpours.

Locations impacted include: Cat Lake, Whitestone Lake, Gitche Lake, Upper Windigo Lake, Maxim Lake, Dorothy Lake, Fry Lake, Upturnedroot Lake, Dobie Lake, Kinloch Lake, Littleford Lake, Hergott Lake, Horseshoe Lake, Kitchenham Lake and Chilton Lake.
