Ontario Sees 4,492 New Cases of COVID-19 over Christmas Weekend

TORONTO – COVID-19 Update – Over the holiday weekend, Ontario saw a total of 4,492 cases of the COVID-19 virus. This reporting number is over two days.

There were 1,939 cases on Monday, and an additional 2.553 cases reported today.

The province has come under criticism over taking a break in vaccinating people over the Christmas break. Vaccinations are resuming today.
