Drug Charges for Three Manitoba Men Follow Traffic Stop

Vermilion Bay – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Dryden Detachment conducted a traffic stop on Highway 17 in Machin Township.

As a result of the traffic stop and further investigation, officers located approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine inside of the vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, Kristopher RANVILLE, age 40 of Dauphin, MB, Joseph LIEW, age 34 of Winnipeg, MB and Janine DESJARLAIS, age 32 of Winnipeg, MB have each been charged with the below offence:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

The three accused are to appear in the Dryden Ontario Court of Justice on July 20, 2020.
