Dryden – Police Deal with Impaired Drivers

DRYDEN – Dryden Police had to deal with a pair of impaired driving incidents on March 14 and 15th, 2019.

First at 8:20 pm, the Dryden Police Service was notified of a motor vehicle collision where a Ford Truck struck a parked car in the parking lot of the Timberland Hotel. The investigation resulted in a 17 year-old-male being arrested at the scene for Impaired Driving. The accused is currently facing charges of Taking a Motor Vehicle without Consent, Impaired Driving and Driving with 80 mgs of alcohol. The accused will appear in court in Dryden on April 9, 2019

Next on March 15, 2019, at approximately 7:15 am, the Dryden Police Service received a call of a possible impaired driver leaving the parking lot of the Best Western after striking a parked vehicle. Shortly after 8:00 am, police located the vehicle at the Patricia Inn parking lot. The 29-year-old driver from Kasabonika, Ontario has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive with over 80 mgs. The accused will appear in court on April 15, 2019.
