THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police Service have released video images of suspects responsible for two Break and Enter incidents at The Little Mermaid on Victoria Avenue East.

UPDATE: Information recieved by patrol officers has resulted in the recovery of a majority of the items stolen from the Little Mermaid during the past few evenings.

This investgiation is ongoing and an update will be issued once it is completed.

Police report that uniformed officers responded to the first incident that took place just after 7:15AM EDT on March 12, 2017. The suspected smashed the front windows and four dresses from the store were taken. Then just before 5:00AM EDT on March 13, 2017, two suspects again smashed the front windows and enter the store and took a number of items including dresses, pants and jewelry.

Video images obtained show the suspects arriving in the area via the laneway east of the business and leaving by the similar route.

The suspects are described as wearing dark baggy clothing. The police would like to ask members of the public to watch the videos and take a close look at the clothing and the manner of walking/running to see if they can recognize anyone involved in this incident.
