THUNDER BAY – Business – The Blackberry 10 is ready for pre-order. All of the major carriers in Northwestern Ontario are announcing how customers can get the new phone. The world-wide launch of the new phone and operating system have seen shares drop in trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Shares opened at $16.08 and by mid afternoon were down in trading. Shares fell 5.08% on volume at 170,908,100.

There is lots of positive market buzz, but so far not on the share price.

Bell Offers on Blackberry 10

Bell announced the new BlackBerry® Z10 smartphone powered by BlackBerry® 10, is now available for pre-order at Bell states, “The BlackBerry Z10 will launch nationally on February 5 with Bell Mobility on Canada’s largest 4G LTE network”.

TELUS has also launched the new BlackBerry® Z10 smartphone powered by BlackBerry® 10 in Canada.
