Andrea HorwathQUEEN’S PARK – On this 68th anniversary of D-Day, Ontario New Democrats commemorate the heroic achievement of Canadian troops who liberated Juno Beach during the Allied invasion of Normandy.

We must never forget the sacrifices made by Ontarians from every corner of the Province who stood with their fellow Canadians and Allies against fascism during the Second World War.

We owe our freedoms and liberties to the efforts of these brave men and women. We owe them our gratitude.
