THUNDER BAY – Michael Michon’s One Last Wish Silent Auction & Fundraiser is on today in Thunder Bay. Kim Berly shares, In just under 4 hours, I will be hosting Michael Michon’s One Last Wish Silent Auction & Fundraiser at the Current River Community Centre. Please come out and help support this 18 year old boy and help him get his wish, he would like to be able to return to Florida and Universal Studios to finish what the family had starting 9 years earlier, a family trip”.
Once again the call is out to people in Thunder Bay to demonstrate the giant heart that our community is famous for.
“When he got sick, the family cut the trip short and returned home where they found out Michael had cancer. Please folks, this touched my heart enough to throw on a fundraiser for this family.
Berly adds, “By the way, I do not now any of the family. So if I can volunteer my time for 7 days, I’m sure you can come out, bid on a few auction items, have some coffee, tea, pop, pizza, persians and have Lou Lou the Clown do face painting on your children and she also makes animal balloons!! Come out support a good cause.
The event kicks off this morning at the Current River Community Centre and runs from 11:30 until 3PM.
The silent auction will be drawn at 2:30PM by Michael Michon,
