TORONTO – SPORTS – The Toronto Maple Leafs got the season started with a win over their long-time rival, the Montreal Canadiens.
The win came in the season opening game played under COVID-19 rules.
Morgan Rielly joined John Tavares on a 2-on-1 and banged home a one-timer, sealing the 5-4 win for the Maple Leafs in overtime.
