Thunder Bay – COVID-19 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) reports 48 (forty-eight) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region.

Current active cases is now 389 cases of the virus. 56 cases have been resolved.

  • 11 Pending
  • 47 Thunder Bay and Surrounding Areas
  • 1 First Nation communities

There are two fewer people in the hospital.

The Health Unit advises: Vaccine appointments for Monday, March 8, 2021 are now full. We are experiencing an overwhelming demand, more appointments will be available shortly. Your patience is appreciated

Ontario Case Overview

There are 337 new cases of the virus in Toronto, 167 cases in Peel and 129 in York Region.

There were 1250 new cases province wide, and another 22 deaths from COVID-19 in Ontario.
