Thunder Bay – COVID-19 Update – COVID-19 numbers in the district have been soaring. Today, the Health Unit is reporting 41 new cases of the virus.

There are now 273 active cases.

Twenty-Five cases have been resolved. Two more people are in the hospital.

The 41 cases break down to 37 in Thunder Bay and Surrounding Areas and 4 in First Nations communities.

  • 1 Musselwhite Mine outbreak
  • 6 No known exposure
  • 12 Pending

Ontario Report

Ontario report 975 cases of COVID-19.

Province wide, there are 343 new cases of the virus in Toronto, 186 cases in Peel and 89 cases in York Region.
