Thunder Bay – Weather – Colder weather in in the forecast for the next few days. There are, as first reported last night, Extreme Cold Warnings in effect for Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake and Ear Falls, and Ignace and English River. The wind chill is expected in the -40°C range.

Thunder Bay Weather

The Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect for Kenora. It is -21°C in the city this morning at 05:00 am CST. Skies are mainly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of flurries early this morning. Skies will be clearing near noon. Winds up to 15 km/h. Wind chill is making it feel like -34°C this morning and -27°C this afternoon. There is a risk of frostbite.

Tonight, skies will clear. Winds will be light at up to 15 km/h. The overnight low will be -34°C. With the wind chill it will feel more like -31°C this evening and -39°C overnight.
