Thunder Bay – Weather – Colder weather in in the forecast for the next few days. There are, as first reported last night, Extreme Cold Warnings in effect for Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake and Ear Falls, and Ignace and English River. The wind chill is expected in the -40°C range.

Thunder Bay Weather

It is -25°C this morning at 06:00 am EST in Thunder Bay. We are headed to a daytime high of -14°C with mainly cloudy skies. There is a 30 percent chance of flurries. Winds will be up to 15 km/h. The wind chill is -28°C this morning and will be -18°C this afternoon.

Skies will be clearing near noon. Winds up to 15 km/h. Wind chill is making it feel like -34°C this morning and -27°C this afternoon. There is a risk of frostbite.
