A freezing rain warning is in effect for the following regions of Western Ontario.
Freezing rain warning in effect for:
- Dryden – Vermilion Bay
- Ignace – English River
- Savant Lake – Sturgeon Lake
- Sioux Lookout – Eastern Lac Seul
- Fort Frances – Emo – Rainy River
- Seine River Village – Mine Centre
Freezing rain is expected or occurring. Environment Canada says a band of freezing rain, at times mixed with snow, is moving eastward across the area this morning.
The freezing rain may persist for a couple hours this morning before changing to flurries later this morning.
If you are travelling this morning, this is likely to impact your travel. If you are flying out of Sioux Lookout heading south or north, it may impact or delay your flight.
