15-Year-Old Toronto Teen Charged with Drug Trafficking Offences

Thunder Bay – Thunder Bay Police arrested a Toronto youth in connection with drug trafficking activity in this city on Wednesday.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Community Oriented Response (COR) Unit attended a residential address at a Cumberland Street address in 100 block of after receiving reports of activity at an apartment unit that should have been vacant.

When police entered the residence they located a 15-year-old male and evidence of drug trafficking. The youth was arrested without incident.

Police found the youth was in possession of a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking. He was transported to the TBPS headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street.

The 15-year-old male from Toronto is now charged with: Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling; Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking. The accused cannot be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The teenager appeared in bail court on Thursday, December 3, 2020 and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date. None of the charges have been proven in court.
