THUNDER BAY – Despite apparent surging COVID-19 numbers across Ontario, the Thunder Bay Casino is set to re-open in a limited way on October 10, 2020.
Currently in Ontario there is a fifty person limitation on the number of people who will be allowed in. The Thunder Bay Casino says that starting on Saturday, October 10, 2020, the doors will open to the My Club Rewards Member on an invitation only basis.
The opening as well will only include slot machines. Table games will not be operational and non-gaming amenities will be very limited.
Gateway Casinos says in a media release the facility will be operating with a reservation and invitation system for our customers only. Due to the 50-customer capacity restrictions, properties will be open to invited My Club Rewards members only. Invited members will be notified by email with details on how to make reservations.
